cecilh
If I make it this year, this will be my 28th year. It's a great show and there has been some changes in that time!
noritsuvet
Just working out whether to go to the Queen of Shops meeting or Photokina. Would love to do both but can't really stretch to it. Pity they are so close together :-/
NeilT
Not going, but its one thing that I really miss :-/
Big Dave
I've never been to Photokina, but I've been to PMA in Las Vegas 4 times as I can just jump in the car and get there in a few hours Which do you guys prefer ? Photokina or PMA ? Is language a barrier to understanding / enjoying the show ?
noritsuvet
Photokina is not what it used to be - mainly because there is not the hospitality we used to enjoy from suppliers. Does anyone on the forum remember the Agfa Casino, dinners and fireworks? These days some of our best suppliers we haven't even met - and the most we've had from them has been a chocolate bar in the mail!
NeilT
Ah, the Agfa days, oh yes indeed... Happy days
AJLA
Kodak and Noritsu marquees along the Rhine.. . great food and hospitality. They were the days hey! Don't know how it compared to PMA not in size anyway, Photokina was huge in my opinion and a great experience.
