kioskguy
I have seen lots of these thick (15mm) clear acrylic frames with a photo stuck to the back, popping up in gift shops nearby. It seems local artists and photographers are making them for sale to tourists. Good idea I thought. I have found that we can get the acrylic cut to whatever size we like from suppliers, but has anyone discovered what glue to use - after all it goes on the emulsion side of the print as this is stuck face on and you look through to see the image. Any ideas would be great
AJLA
Have you had a look at the ones sold by Lion, they are really nice but they are a sandwich of the 2 peices of acrylic together. I did try them but unfortunately they were not too successful for me, more for the trendy younger market (most of my regulars are 100 plus ;D) The other type is almost laminated by a machine onto the acrylic. Cant remember the name of the company I saw at Focus but maybe Lion could also help?

kioskguy
Thank you. We too have tried the two pieces together and they don't sell. Nice little dust collectors in our shop too. Will look at other ways to do this as a Rep mentioned 3M adhesive roll could be a good solution.
cliveanton
You guys need to look at the transparency mount film on page 12 of the downloadable catalogue from hotpress.co.uk - lots of useful mounting items on their site, I have used them for heatseal etc for more years than I care to remember.
