philspectrum
Spectrum have a growing number of old kiosks. Lucidiom apm 1000 and kodak g3 which run XP and are too old and slow for modern multi megapixel cameras and huge cards. With touch screens i feel there must be a use for them, - but what ? Is there a Linux option that supports touchscreen ? could they be used in education ? I have tried giving them away, but their unusual shape and appearance makes this difficult. What do you do with yours? Phil
kioskguy
Give them to a needy photo shop nearby would be my suggestion. There are plenty that could really do with some extra kiosks and the extra time waiting for images to load is nothing in a quiet market town - as opposed to a city centre
aussiecameras
There are some Australian guys who have made them into juke boxes to have at home. Pretty easy I'm told but I don't know where you get the software!
NeilT
Yup a nifty juke box (MP3) powered by a media centre would be good.

BOOTSMAN0941
I would love to get my hand on an old Kodak G3 touchscreen kiosk PC that is being thrown out for my own use as I think the software on them sometimes are better than standard of the shelf photo editing software.
