Photographis
we do tend to if it is a new customer (or one we know is forgetfull), and never really had any problems. A deposit is usually asked for when taking orders for the wideformat or a large print run, again, no problems. Most people are understanding. AJLA
We ask for payment up front on gift items, canvases and a few other services. I find that the only orders left behind are the films, perhaps because we have the customers camera cards they are not so forgetfull then hey I tried about a year ago to ask for deposits on the films or at least a telephone number but got sick to death with the "oh you know me etc" blah blah blah. But I really should encourage it again.
