Mr Noritsu
I'm trying to find out what is the most popular size photobook that people are printing in-store - is it 8x12, A4 or US letter size? I am trying to decide which size paper we use because that will determine what size covers we use. and I want to try to go with a size where I have the chance of getting other brands and surfaces to fine tune the services we offer. Would greatly appreciate any feedback from others
noritsuvet
We use 8'' paper with a shorter transport (I think 290) then slip them into A4 Unibind covers. Works a treat. Also do 8x8'' books and have a local print shop wire bind them with a plain black card cover. This appeals to the trendier customers as it looks like what many call the visual diaries. Recently we added an A4 size print (not books) by printing across 12'' paper on the lab. With a lot of customers coming in with A4 frames we saw too many walking away so now do this and has been popular. Good luck with your photobooks
