AJLA
I am currently looking to update my 3.5 "card reader, We can't use XD H or M type and many of the larger cards. this is one I have been looking at : http://www.amazon.co.uk/Akasa-internal-reader it looks good but I can't seem to find one which states they accept 4gig SD cards for example. My current one doesn't. Anyone familiar with these?
Ignatius
Go to http://www.atechflash.com/kiosk_aft-xm35u.html and get this card reader. SDHC, large capacity drives CF micro SDHC, Micro Memory Stick/Duo,..etc. Get it from a dealer near you. We are in South Africa so costs will be too high. Colopt
Yes, that atech card reader looks good, the way it is clearly labeled for each type of card, perfect for the DIY kiosk computer. Unfortunately I can't find anywhere that sells them here in Australia.
Ignatius
You can contact Rob Howse at www.kiosks.co.nz , he stocks them and might know where to get in Oz. Rgds Iggie - Labcare SA
AJLA
Yes it does look good.....now to find someone who actually has it in stock in the UK as I would prefer it in black.
Colopt
I notice some card readers now come with an e-sata connection. Anyone had a customer walk in with a sata hard drive wanting to connect to the kiosk? I have had a few customers with external USB hard drives so its only a matter of time I guess.
