Tony.T
Shame- probably as a direct result of AGFA's collapse. After all they sold and distributed all AGFA's consumables.
snpysnps
Which collapse? The one ages ago? What Agfa consumables are still out there. I thought everyone used Tetanal or other chemistries now. As for the paper that would be a horrible shade of yellow ...
philspectrum
Shame if rumour is true. The only rep we get to see nowadays was from Tudor. Wot a state ! P
philspectrum
It's true. Swains take over accounts as of next wednesday. Unclear yet if existing Tudor accounts will be transfered, - or if businesses will need to open new accounts with Swains..... P
cecilh
This will give Swains a good range of frames and perhaps Sanyo cameras and camcorders. Kodak will not want them selling Fuji paper but of course Swains got a raw deal from Kodak over KEX. I don't suppose Kodak would allow Tetenal to sell Fuji paper. There are not many wholesalers left. cecilh
Tudor were doing 1/2 Swains turnover so that now makes Swains quite a big company. All the camera companies etc. will be crawling over themselves to get Swains to distribute their products. It seems that Jessops are on the way out, if that is the case the likes of Canon will be sorry they gave all the small shops the elbow. Good luck to Swains who have always been a fantastic company to deal with.
