passport photograph

After having hardly any returns we had one returned from the Glasgow office because the customer had a "neutral" expretion. As they didn't return the photo, I still don't know what that meant. We took it again and they accepted that one.  In the last few days the local Post Office has returned two. The first one was supposed to be out of focus but certainly wasn't.  The second was rejected for having a white background - that's a first for us, the form does say off white. I'm going to see the local Post Office to see if a new person has been employed.

We have recently had a similar problem, Cecilh, but only from the postoffice.  Ours was a tiny reflection on the outside corner of glasses. It was a new over zealous member of staff. Just be super critical for a couple of weeks, by which time they will have processed a few hundred and be bored.

But the passport office is getting more critical, and rightly so.
