postage and packaging for e commerce sites.

Recommended Posts

My wife is in the process of setting up an ecommerce site selling jewellery and handbags and is a little stuck regarding what to charge for shipping. She anticipates selling mainly to the Uk but has also generated some overseas interest. Are their any 3rd party solutions calculating postage and packing which she can link to her website, or would it be better to have fixed rates regrdless of number of items and weight implications. She is getting her website designed overseas and they require all this infornmation.

In your own personal experiences which of the above seems to be the easiest options.

I suppose this has implications for us to in the photographic business and would appreciate any comments or preferences

PS. I tried going through the Royal Mail website but there doesnt seem to be any clear  info regarding this.
