Need Advise On Which Compact Digi Cam To Choose For Id Photos

Canon SX160 is good choice, it have options for manual settings, but also have option to reduce flash (at least sx130 had that option, for this one I am not 100% sure ;) ), and in that way you can trigger studio flash without a problem, but in the same time not have impact on the image.

 

Also there is option to connect it to Canon Selphy sublimation printers CP800, 900, 910 which have ID option and crop size capability  :)

 

And it uses the AA battery as power source  :)

I use an old Konica Minolta Dimage A200 bridge camera. It looks much more professional than a compact, and has a manual zoom, which I find much easier than one with a button to zoom.

 

It is getting a bit tired now though, and is quite slow to focus and take, so I will hopefully be upgrading it to probably a Nikon DSLR.
