ericj Posted May 13, 2014 Report Posted May 13, 2014 I use the SP2000 as a stand-alone scanner which I'm currently using to digitise my old negs going back years plus some family history stuff. The scanner is working fine. It is attached to a huge IBM server running Windows 2000. I would dearly like to dispense with this huge monster and use my more modern PC which, when needed, I run XP as I have a SCSI connected book scanner and an Imacon Flextight Photo (just bought) and a sheet feeder scanner for old club archives. All non-commercial. Unfortunately, usual story, I don't have the software which came with the IBM server. I've looked at the details and it says PNI Digital Media version 2.11.3.0. At the foot of the window (and I think this is probably the relevant one) it says v5.51-0E-952K. Any suggestions?
Minilab service Posted May 14, 2014 Report Posted May 14, 2014 SP-2000 can connect to modern computer running with C4/C5 V5.5-0E-976 or S2 running on Windows XP. Also can use MS01 software running on Windows XP or Windows 7 .
ericj Posted May 15, 2014 Author Report Posted May 15, 2014 That is very helpful. Problem (the usual) is that I don't have the installation disc.
Minilab service Posted May 15, 2014 Report Posted May 15, 2014 You can get. I have all three. Also many other CD with optional software.
