simson00 Posted December 11, 2014 Report Posted December 11, 2014 Hi, Anybody has an idea to fix this problem? I have the same situation, only 10x15 (fuji supreme glossy prints) are getting stop and jam in 5 section. Which part should I check at first? Lustre paper and other sizes are all OK. Thanks a lot!
Minilab service Posted December 11, 2014 Report Posted December 11, 2014 Try disable distributor and print without it. If no error after that can be some problem with vacuum or suckers. Also look how rotate last printer rollers. Them rotates processor chain through clutch ( under last star ) . When it is broken chain can't rotate printer output rollers stable and you have paper jam error.
simson00 Posted December 12, 2014 Report Posted December 12, 2014 Thanks for advice! I've checked almost everything and it's looking right. Is it possible that lustre prints never jam but only glossy? I tried printing with new paper roll, but the same jam in 5 section. Paper always stop at the plate, like this post http://postimg.org/image/vgjhnra49/
PHOTOLABPART.COM Posted December 13, 2014 Report Posted December 13, 2014 DEAR SIR PLEASE EMAIL ME WITH YOUR CONTACT DETAILS MY EMAIL IS A minilabtechn@gmail.com THANKS
Minilab service Posted December 13, 2014 Report Posted December 13, 2014 Usually paper jam in section 5 cause what I said. If I understand well you disabled distributor, but have the same error? What's wrong can find when remove side covers, block cover sensors ( minilab should see that cover closed ) and run print. Can use some fogged paper. Then look carefully where paper stops or moving instable. Can be some gear or roller. Try to clean rollers with rubber cleaner ( for example Gummi Fit made by Huber ) . Also look carefully at gears. They all has clutch inside ( to prevent rotating, if roller stuck ) . Sometimes when clutch is broken gear external part rotates and internal part not. Then roller can't rotate too. On few minilabs had fault when some motor and gears rotate to different direction than should be. Then roller push out paper instead take it and move forward. Faulty printer board cause it. After board repair all works as should be - motor rotates correct direction. So advise only one - remove cover, run print and see what is wrong.
simson00 Posted December 16, 2014 Report Posted December 16, 2014 Ok, thanks a lot! I tried to check yours tips, but no success. I recorded a short movie when the paper is getting stopped. It looks like that problem is with rollers at the silver plate. Now every 10x15cm prints are jammed there. Any ideas to solve it? Link to my movie, http://we.tl/2Y4slTB3gR Thanks!
