Guest Posted May 22, 2014 Report Posted May 22, 2014 I have question. What software I need to register Frontier 370 (LP2500) on computer? I don't know what softvere is used to register printer (and be able to register magazines, perform maintenance etc) with printer connected via network cable. (no scanner). I have N1 software, but i don't know is it compatibile with this printer or i need something other. Please, suggest me best way to configure MS01 for two printers to be able to perform highest output for bussy lab (over 600m2 per day). I it possible to connect two printers to one MS01 and add for example one High capacity render computer to make possible that software auto route orders to both printers in same time to speed up output? Tnx.
Minilab service Posted May 22, 2014 Report Posted May 22, 2014 You wrote something wrong. Can be Frontier 370 (LP2000) or Frontier 390 (LP2500) . What exactly you have?
Minilab service Posted May 22, 2014 Report Posted May 22, 2014 To run stand alone Fuji 370 ( without scanner ) you need to build FMPC . It is intermediate computer between DIC and minilab. You should have Ratoc firewire board to build FMPC. This firewire card should use Fuji drivers ( from CD ) instead Ratoc or Microsoft drivers. You can run FMPC using D20 , S9 or MS01 software. FMPC software depends on DIC ( C4/C5, S2 or MS01 ) .
Guest Posted May 22, 2014 Report Posted May 22, 2014 Problem is that I have no any CD except MS01, N1 and A1. I know how to install machine LP7XXX with MS01 and N1. What is difference here when i want to install 370 with MS01? I have Firewwire board. But i have no Fuji drivers CD.
Minilab service Posted May 23, 2014 Report Posted May 23, 2014 MS01 is enough. You have install it on FMPC and workstation. Which MS01 version do you have ? You have FMPC driver. It is on MS01 CD. Here where can find drivers on some versions : version 2.1 ez171\fmpc xp drivers\drivers\xp\ieee1394forprinter version 2.5.5 ASK SP3000\FMPC XP Drivers\Drivers\xp\IEEE1394forPrinter version 3.2 EZ171\fmpc xp drivers\Drivers\xp\IEEE1394forPrinter version 4.2 EZ171\FMPC W7 Drivers\Install\Drivers\win7\IEEE1394forPrinter Inside folder "IEEE1394forPrinter" will be .inf file and you should use it with your Ratoc card. After driver instillation have make firewire configuration (VDentry value ) . When you use FMPC your printer CTL board should have EPROM version 2. To see EPROM version browse minilab menu and can see it on minilab LCD. kaitedo 1
Guest Posted May 23, 2014 Report Posted May 23, 2014 Great, i found drivers in folder you say. (ver 4.2) What you mean with VDentry value? IP adress or something else? Ok i will install that but question is ddo i have program "Frontier Printer" when i install just MS01? Program where i operate with machine? Register magazines, perform pump measurment etc? On LP7xxx i need to install software N1_310 to have that. Tnx
Minilab service Posted May 23, 2014 Report Posted May 23, 2014 VDentry ( virtual driver entry ) is firewire bus id number. Set it to 0. When firewire settings will be completed you have on FMPC install MS01 software ( choose printer, LP2000 ) . Then on other computer have install DIC, which print using your FMPC. More information can find on MS01 instillation manual ( PP3-A1060E ) .and MS01 technical information ( PP3-ED875A ) .
Guest Posted May 23, 2014 Report Posted May 23, 2014 Ok thanks I got that part. What about software that have Extension, Papir and magazine registration, Pump output anounts? Tnx!

We want to add another Fuji 370 to existing DIC MS01 v3.0, so another FMPC needs to be set up?
