Sp3000 As A Stand Alone

Hi, I am planning to buy a SP3000 for working all the analogue work of my lab and leave the 340 just for printing. Is it possible to use the sp3000 as a stand alone just for scaning? Or do I need some special configuration for the DI, the SP and the 340?

Hi

Yes, you can use the SP stand alone as long as it's networked to a server running C4/C5 or MS.

On server can use three software - C4/C5, S2 or MS01. 

On scanner computer should install A1. When used C4/C5 on scanner computer have install too ( the same version on both computers ) . When use S2 on scanner computer have install S1 and drivers. When use  MS01 have install MS11 for SP3000.

You should have scanner backup. If not - have make all scanner adjustments.

Check what is installed on scanner computer. If all works there then just connect server computer and install it.
