When I had my DKS 1510 I had sometimes this problem, not very often. Restarting the system or DKS software

use to solve the problem and perhaps only happened  once a month.

If your problem is produced often perhaps is caused by motor. (I had to change it too after 10 years)

Hi, before replacing I would suggest checking all racks to make sure they free to rotate first and that relevant parts are lightly greased i.e. the cogs etc on the rotating drive shaft in the transmission box.

would then try replacing the brushes in the motor if desperate.

i managed to find some at a local tool sales place which were slightly too big and then gently filed down to size.

If time permits I dare say someone like rs components.

Have to make sure that the armiture is cleaned etc before reassembly (can be a bit fiddley so need patience ohh and a torx driver - can't remember the size to get into the motor)
