Silverlight Posted July 23, 2014 Report Posted July 23, 2014 Hello all - I am posting this here and in the AGFA section, as Noritsu also made a minilab E6 machine. I am working on a project and am setting up an E6 AGFA/copal minilab E6 processor. While it took weeks to clean this machine up, finally we got chemistry in it. I am at a stop/problem point. I have been running E6 [in rack&tank machines] for years, but I have never seen controls as they come out of this processor.. I am stumped. All the chems are fresh, of course. DMAX and contrast is fine, but the "DMIN" [the white] is about 25+points yellow. I shot a roll of fresh E6, with the same result, yellow whites. I tried going backwards with fresh replenisher [fix ← reversal] to see what bath might be bad. the yellow never cleared.. Has anyone seen this extreme yellow/in the whites E6 film? Thanks, if you can help.. Best Regards, D. Wood/ dr5
focusonimage Posted August 20, 2014 Report Posted August 20, 2014 I do not remember well, but E6 yellow stain appear when color developer starter isn't added or the solution had a pH too high.
kodak_service Posted August 21, 2014 Report Posted August 21, 2014 E6 is very difficult process. It can't be adjusted without use of control strips.
