2901 120 Carrier Scanner Area Registration Error 6310-0075

We just replaced the image process pcb board, the 35mm carrier and

35mm slide carrier work fine. The 120 carrier gives us this error message.

 

We changed the scanner lamp and cleaned the carrier.

 

Any idea?

Can be something wrong with carrier or scanner alignments bad.  6310-0075 - scanner area registration error, the image is out of alignment. Put focus adjustment charts and look tilt - swing adjustments and light axis adjustment menu.

I have never seen the focus charts where are they found?

Hello. Engineers have adjustment charts ( 135, APS, 120, mounted slides ) . I have them too.

Just now saw this fault appeared when you replaced image processing pcb. Which model you put there - old ( with RAM modules ) or new ( without them ) . If older model try clean RAM modules and try switch ( two the same RAM's ) . Do not try put there computer RAM or put these RAM modules to computer. If you do it your board will be damaged.

Try go to service mode, software upgrade from HD and upgrade boards in image processing section. Also can switch image correction pcb ( have two the same there - one for scanner and other for digital ) . If all will be well, but still error might be image processing is faulty. Can test it on some other QSS29 minilab. Can't test on 2911, 2921 ( Kodak branded ) . Kodak minilabs work with Kodak scanners and instead image processing pcb have DLS boards.

The image process pcb, d-ice pcb and 2 image correction boards were replaced. Everything works but the 120 carrier. The board has built on ram.

We need the area registration done. Is there someone in the New York area that has the 120 focus chart?

Worked  120AFC  earlier at this minilab or it is the first installation?

Try to read backup. Also check the position of 120AFC in scanner.

Did read the backup, no change. What do you mean by check the position

of the 120AFC in scanner

If 120AFC isn't inserted against the stop, it can be a cause of error.
