Lcd Block & Bad Centering

Zero sensors in barrel lens and lcd block shows green but often prints come with white stripe and image is bad centered.

Cable has been changed to new.

 

Lens and paper centering is done many times, what else can i try..?

There was a topic oppened about this and I wanted to write there some tips about how to get good centering on DKS3, but on the end I forgot about it

1. Clean both upper and lower rollers inside feeder

2. Clean all the sensors on the expo deck

3. Make sure that both LCD and Lens turret belts are properly tight, and to be sure about that, loosen all 3 screws which hold the mottor and let the tightening spring tight the belt and then tight the mottor screws again

4. Check LCD and lens zero position and adjust its sensor position if necessary to get it in orange range at least

5. Chek LCD and Lens offset exposure on expo deck and adjust if necessary

6. Check feeder extraction lenght and adjust

As I am on vacation, I do not have manuals in front off me, but I think that very few off my colegues done this belt adjustment or knew about it, but on one location I realise that this spring is there just for that purpouse and before I done that I tried numerous times to measure the exposed centering pattern, but the values were not stable from one measurament to another one, but after I adjusted the lens belt tension I got perfect WB after finishing all the other adjustments necessary to be done afterwards

Do all the necessary centering test like lens centering...

This happens when 1710 prints split and normal mode, some prints are fine but some has this 8mm white stripe.

Kis says lcd block cable is too tight or change it, it was changed last year, lens and paper centering done, broplem is not there,

it is that zero point and way dont machine find that always..!

 

Mayby new cable again..?

If this print is done on 6" (15.2 cm) and if the print lenght is correct, I think that you have a problem with lens motor belt tension or maybe with flat cable again ?

You can check this lens belt tension by hand from exposure chamber, also if the lens zero position test is not stable, that would be because the belt is a little bit loose

After the belt tension is adjusted, all of the centering adjustaments have to be redone again including the zero position as first one, then lens offset ...
