How "Access" To Dic For Install S2?

Please, somebody can explain me how install S2 on DIC?

First have prepare computer - computer name, user name, password, user group, hard disc and CD drive names, IP, working group. Then install S2 - first part, second, third and fourth. After that have make DIC configuration and can install all optional software.

How control the computer? Where inserts the disks?

I own a SP3000 stand alone.

Hello. To run SP3000 stand alone you need external computer ( DIC ) where will be installed S2 and transfered scanned files. It is missing in your picture. This computer using LAN will be connected with scanner computer ( S1 should be installed there ) . 

If you on scanner computer have not S1, but some other software on your DIC should be installed different software too ( C4/C5 or MS01 ) .

I do not understand well, you mean that for the SP3000 stand alone work you must have another computer that is not in the picture? My SP3000 is exactly like the photo and works ok.

The images are stored on a USB memory connected to the main computer Toshiba. 

 

¿Is it possible this configuration without DIC?

 

I bought the scanner to PTS in USA. It cames with a recovery CD and 2 "floppy disks".

What software is this?

Hello. I didn't see this disc before. You should ask PTS what is there.

Usually with SP3000 supplied :
Scanner computer recovery CD ( two pieces, part 1 and part 2 )
A1 main software CD
Floppy disc with scanner backup

When scanner running FE software for scanner computer also need :
S1 software CD
S1 driver CD
For workstation ( DIC ) need S2 software CD

It is typical Fuji configuration. Maybe PTS did some own interface, which is different from original configuration. In attachment stand alone SP3000 with FE software.

I have a "special" custom unit from PTS with custom software and without DIC.
