Ultra8 Posted November 12, 2014 Report Posted November 12, 2014 Hi all! I just got an SP-3000. So far everything's making sense but one thing I can't figure out no matter what I try is this: When I go into "Process 1" and click on "Custom Settings No.", then "Condition" so I can adjust settings in there, everything is grayed out! How do I make those options available? And in dark areas I have red dot´s. With a low sharpening many of the dot´t went away, but not all. Anyone have a idea what this is? Thank You! Jo
ghn5ue Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 The condition area just shows you what conditions the custom functions are set to. To setup the custom functions you have to do so in the setup menus. Not familiar with the SP3000 so you will have to look around a bit to find the menu. The dots you show are noise. Turning off hypersharpening does help reduce noise. Also make sure the lens and light source is clean. The less light, the more noise. The ccd sensor can also get dirty over time, but that is a much more involved process to clean, and you may need a Fuji technician to do this for you.
Ultra8 Posted November 13, 2014 Author Report Posted November 13, 2014 Thank you very much for your answer!
Ultra8 Posted November 14, 2014 Author Report Posted November 14, 2014 One day later i've got the password for the system-menu (0000 and 7777) to edit the custom functions. After that I reduced the sharpening and the red dots went away, fine! Now I make a backup of the win2000 System HD. I have the orig. C4/C5 on CD (latest version for XP SP2), but I cannot read the system disk from the sp3000. I have the disk Version 1.8-0E-014. Is this the latest version for the SP3000? I need a backup from this disk (or, if they available, a new version). Can anyone help me?
