Printing From Apple Devices

We all know Apple Devices holds 1000`s of images, i was wondering if hand this usb flash drive to the customer and they select the ones they require for printing.

Try hama wi fi data reader device. You put a  app on iphone,tablet... Conect your device with hama device thru wi fi  network and then customer pick only pictures that like to print and send to hama device. I have one and work great. Other day one customer send me 280 pictures thru that conection all files transfered in about 3 minutes. Its super fast.

All the ideas you bring to the forum are ok assuming EVERYBODY is able to install

an easy thing that is an APPLET.

But, many people have NO IDEA, and I don't want to make a customer install something

in its phone because sometimes in digital world, as you know, easy can be complicated.

If trying to install APP something happen on the mobile I will be guilty for that and I

don't want any problems.

 

So.....is there any method that let choose the prints on the phone (because I don't want

cable connect, too many folders, too many pictures, time to make thumbnails...etc) and

transfer to my LAB without any installation???  

 

In android world I use bluetooth as ALL androids have it, but in Mac World (I hate them)

all became complicated. Iphones send me by mail or Wetransfer and deppends on the

day I say we don't make photos from iphones because I only allow files on an USB.

 

I'm sick to spend so many time thru the customer phone only for a pair of photos!

Thats exactly why i`ve ordered one of these apple my isticks @ £50.00, because more and more customers are with iphones these days.

 

Looking at the istick video it seems so simple to download to the stick once you`ve downloaded the free app from the Apple Store.

Nash,  I know is simple to install but most customers have NO IDEA installing

anything in their phones, so the best option is something pre-installed and

standard.

In Android world bluetooth is the one, but not in apple world.

I don't want to bother customer installing something in their phones, but

lately I found that, if customer have idea to install apps, I suggest to install

Wetransfer app, very easy and fast to transfer files for customer and for

me as I download a zip with all sended files. If customer don't want or is not

able to install apps the easiest mode is by mail but then you'll have to click

and save (and rename) each photo.

I don't want cable connect the phones because the thousands of files people

have, losing time...it's better customer select their photos in their own phone

and transfer to me.

iStick is a good way too, but you have to install app in the customer mobile.

All our world is digital today but most of people have no idea of the basics

of this digital world, in a photo shop most of the people is not 16 years old.
