I Am Happier After I Ditch My Noritsu Laser Wet Lab...

After decades using Noritsu, qss 601,701,801,1912,2301,3201 and 3501...now it is time to move on. dont get me wrong, I love those machine, but year after year, the after sales service gone.worse and worse. It's looks like they keep stealing from me....last week I sold my last laser wet lab. Now we're waiting our drylab (we bought 2 machines), and it's not noritsu. I'm sick with their after sales services (in Indonesia). Instead of noritsu, I bought Epson Dry Lab,I know fujifilm now use epson too instead of noritsu for their dry lab.

Now my life is happier,i'm going to.vacation without worrying about laser,aom etc. Happy happy happy....

Hi there. Happy to see someone happy in this industry. So, I was thinking of purchasing a used 3201 with 400.000 prints on it, but the surelab d3000 just got my attention. I saw the FUJI DL600 but too much pixels on prints. So how is your Epson till now? Are you happy with it? Please share some experience.

The result is superb, better gamut than minilab. Of course they're much simpler , less ridiculous part. What do you mean withtoo much pixel on dl600 prints ? i think both dl600 and sld3000 are the same machine.

 

FYI My Noritsu minilab, i bought it from new and the laser dead after only less than 1.500.000 prints. i think fuji minilab way much reliable than noritsu, why ? Fuji made money from both selling machines and papers/chemicals. But Noritsu made money only from machines and parts. of course what i mean here is Fuji minilab made by fuji

You can’t give a comparison based on one Minilab that had a laser fail earlier than you expected. Every machine is different.

Just like cars you can get a good one or a bad one from the same manufacturer.

 

I think there is very little in it between Fuji and Noritsu in terms of reliability. Both are reliable brands.

The main difference between them is on the software side of things. The Fuji is geared towards printing on Auto, where as the Noritsu has much more manual control so in my opinion is a more flexible machine to use.
