Firewire Card & Cable

Hello,

I am installing the MS01&MS11 software and need to purchase these 2 items (I own a Fuji SP-3000 scanner and Frontier-S printer):

 

1. Firewire 1394 card.

2. Cable for the firewire card: AWM  20276 80C 30V XW-1

 

Does anyone have these items for sell?

If not, does anybody know how much they should cost? and do I need to buy only Fuji originals?

Hello. First do not understand why you need firewire card and cable. You have stand alone scanner ( without printer ) , so you can connect server with scanner computer using LAN.

Fuji Firewire card is made by Ratoc, so you can buy it not from Fuji.

Firewire cable can buy somewhere too.

If you have Frontier-S printer ( DX-100 ) can use print driver or MS01 with MS48.

Hi, i have one problem with Frontier S (DX100)... the installation is ok MS01+MPS48 the connection in ok initialization but don't print i see under production status ERROR

Are you saying that any firewire card will work or only if it's made by Ratoc?

Hello. Which minilab did you buy ? Many minilabs can be connected to your SP3000 as tethered printer. Just have reinstall software and load scanner, printer backups. When you have tethered printer FMPC not required. Then server using LAN connected to scanner and scanner using firewire cable connected to minilab.

Fuji supplies firewire cards made by Ratoc. Of course can try some other maker, but not all of them can work well.
