Frontier 550 (Lp5500) + Fdi

I have a Frontier 500 (LP5500) who is communicate with the FMPC by Firewire and the FMPC received the Order from the FDi via Network. 

 

My trouble is when I do my paper condition setup the page I got is my router login page (192.168.0.1) If I disable my network card on my FMPC everything is OKAY but I need my network to send my order to the FMPC. 

 

This problem is new from this morning (we have a network issue and have to change the router) I have change the IP in my FMPC to set it manually but we I have set it back to automatic (like it was before) I start to have this problem. 

 

Any one have a idea ?

I was working in fujifilm Israel

You need to change the FireWire ip to deferent net work and the printer

Printer: 192.168.1.1

Fmpc: 192.168.1.2

I have change my FMPC to 192.168.1.2 but I can't figure how to change the printer ip !

I have load a backup image of my FMPC and I still have the problem so the solution can be only 2 thing... My router or the printer IP

Hi

Do not change the IP in the printer !!!!!

It will only give you more trouble.

 

You need to do the following:

1)the IP of the fire wire in the FMPC should be 192.168.0.10

2) Ask your computer tech to change your IP router to a different IP ( I recomend 10.0.0.138)

3) check the the FMPC and IC is geting an IP from the router witch you changed.

 

That will fix the problem

to change the printer ip you need to 5 time on enter and menu on the printer panel

and change ip on the menu

Dont mess with your printer.

If you have changed the router make it works by connecting your fmpc with another computer

or try to ping your computer by opening cmd and typing like This (ping 192.168.1.2)and press enter

The ip must be yours
