S9 is FMPC software but it is not enough to have it working:

Do not forget that you need to obtain:
- FireWire card (IEEE1394 board) of special revision
- EPROM ver.2 (depends on your version)
- cable for IEEE1394 board
 

The list is for certain labs and some parts you may not need at all.
