cokwax Posted October 1, 2016 Report Posted October 1, 2016 I shutdown the system this morning when it was still warming. On starting up, two beeps and the display showed no signal. Checked, the PC is off. Trying to start manually but no luck. any ideas?
evan1985 Posted October 1, 2016 Report Posted October 1, 2016 2 beeps probably RAM, if you have two DIMM cards installed, test take one off, try to on, if not, take off put the another one and try.
Trev Taylor Posted October 31, 2016 Report Posted October 31, 2016 No. 2 beeps doesn't mean RAM. It is a beep from the CTL24 saying that it can't start the PC. If the PC is off and it had a RAM fault, it would continously beep 2 beeps. One set of 2 beeps is from the CTL PCB. Take the PC out, stick it on the table and plug it into the mains. Then troubleshoot it from there, maybe the PSU has gone faulty and since they're special PSUs, you'll have to get it repaired. cokwax 1
