Visible Lines In Scan

I can't get rid of these horisontal lines appering in my scans, they are especially visible in bright even areas like the sky. Any idea what's causing this problem? They appear in the scanning direction.

 

I've tried to clean all parts in the light source and have run numerous scanner setups. 

 

I'm using the Universal Film Carrier on a DS-1000.

 

Can it be dust on the CCD? If yes, how can it be cleaned?
