Fdiadbcmd Error While Installing Ms01

Hi All,

 

I am trying to install MS01 on a Windows 7 x64 for a SP 500 scanner only. During the install, the computer reboots as expected. After the reboot I have two users Administrator and FRONTIER, I log into Administrator, Then the installation continue few seconds and crash during installation of FRDB with the error "FDIADBCmd has stopped working".

It is not possible to use MS01 software (basic and optional) on the Win7 64bit.
It was designed to be used under Win7 x86 (32bit).

Is it important to have a pro version or home is good enough?

According to the  MS01 [v.4.0 and above] Installation overview manual  the following CD required before installation:

A MS01 Basic Software for Windows 7
B MS01 Basic Software for Windows XP/2000/NT
C Windows 7 SP1 (Download software)
D Windows 7 Hotfix (Download software)

So as you can see- there is no special requirements for Windows version.
Just SP1.
