adamwooo Posted December 20, 2016 Report Posted December 20, 2016 (edited) I have the problem with black. The black colour is not black like iluminated (exposed from bulb) paper. I've tried to change modulators positions, but effect is the same. Have You got any idea what is wrong ? Machine is noritsu 3300 Edited December 20, 2016 by adamwooo
adamwooo Posted December 21, 2016 Author Report Posted December 21, 2016 I would like to add that the black colour of daily setup , the blackest patch is ok, but on the foto is lighter , is dark gray.
davidlam Posted December 21, 2016 Report Posted December 21, 2016 1) does light-fogged paper black enough after processing ? 2) check actual developer temperature in the CD tank 2) Try change the developer in the processing tank. Before this, rinse the tank throw away old chemical filter good luck
adamwooo Posted December 21, 2016 Author Report Posted December 21, 2016 I've changed the developer, overexposed paper on sun has goog black, on daily setup is good black, on picture not. Yes light-fogged has good black, so temperature CD tank is good.
Dave S Posted December 21, 2016 Report Posted December 21, 2016 Try cleaning the calibration plate for the colorimeter with a soft cloth and a mild neutral PH soap. Can you tell me the what the step 22 (last step) readings are for the daily setup? Maybe take a screen shot (ALT Print Screen, open Paint and click Edit, then paste) attach to this post.
adamwooo Posted December 22, 2016 Author Report Posted December 22, 2016 Here is my daily setup table.
kodak_service Posted December 22, 2016 Report Posted December 22, 2016 You must change calibration plate.
Dave S Posted December 22, 2016 Report Posted December 22, 2016 (edited) The last step readings are too high, they should not be much higher than 2.55 your readings are almost 4.00! Try cleaning the calibration plate and see if the readings go lower, if they don't you will need to replace the calibration plate. Edited December 22, 2016 by Dave S
adamwooo Posted December 22, 2016 Author Report Posted December 22, 2016 is it possible that the reason is different calibration.ini file ? I had a problem with densitometer, technican send me the file for calibration plate form different machine to resolve this problem. So i changed it. After cheanging developer the problem with densitometer has gone. But is with black. Tommorow i will try to load the original file and clean calibration plate.
adamwooo Posted December 23, 2016 Author Report Posted December 23, 2016 I think that is wrong calibration plate.dat. Can anybody send me noritsu 3300 plate.dat whih is on service disk ? My email : adamgsx@gmail.com
Dave S Posted December 24, 2016 Report Posted December 24, 2016 The file you need is plate.dat, this comes on a floppy disk labelled "Calibration Plate Data" with the serial number of your calibration plate. The plate.dat file is unique to each calibration plate, so you cannot use the data from a different calibration plate and expect it to calibrate properly. The chances are that your calibration plate is worn out anyway, so I think ordering a new one will be the best solution. The new calibration plate will come with a floppy disk with the updated data on it. The part number for the new metal calibration plate is Z028442-01
yustas Posted January 4, 2017 Report Posted January 4, 2017 Agree here. Calibration plate has unique FD with unique data and it cannot be used with other plate. So the purchase of new Calibration Plate is the only way out as kodak-service wrote above.
adamwooo Posted January 6, 2017 Author Report Posted January 6, 2017 I've written Noritsu, they sent me plate.dat file exactly for my plate number.
purnomosetiawan Posted January 9, 2017 Report Posted January 9, 2017 the calibration plate and the disk must match, i think #21 result is not right
