Minilab service Posted December 28, 2016 Report Posted December 28, 2016 Solution only one - repair G laser head. Contact, if need. If it is laser unit type A try to make autotuning. If it is laser unit type B then switch B and G laser drivers. If no changes have repair laser.
yustas Posted January 4, 2017 Report Posted January 4, 2017 I doubt that Auto tuning will help with such waves. Green laser module is weak and has to be replaced.
mcpix Posted November 2, 2018 Report Posted November 2, 2018 (edited) Hi, I've been having this problem intermittently for about 4 years now. The cure each time has been to shut the machine off (including the breaker) and then let it sit for about 3 hours. I'm assuming this resets the laser. It seems to happen more often on cold clear days, although I'm not sure what that means. The last time it happened was in February of this year and then it didn't happen again until just yesterday (November). When it first happened I was told that I would probably have to replace the laser. Although that ultimately may prove to be true, I just wanted to post this so that others would see that you may be able to run for awhile with this condition. Edited November 3, 2018 by mcpix
yustas Posted November 3, 2018 Report Posted November 3, 2018 Yes, the person who told you to replace the laser was true. Laser requires a repair. During the cold days, the temperature of the ambient air in the room is lower than required for the laser start and the message "Laser temperature is being adjusted" may be generated. But it is difficult to reach the stable working parameters if the laser's internal structure is exhausted. So you will have to wait when the air temperature will be higher to have your lab working. You can try to use your old laser to the very end of it if you plan to replace your old DPSS laser with our new diode module. We do not care what will happen to the laser module's internal content because we throw it away anyway and install inside our new semiconductor diode mount and controllers.
