3501 noritsu - no power to PC or scanner

I have a noritsu 3501. I don't use the timer on my unit. I just power off at the main power switch when not in use. today when I went to power up the machine. The PC and the Scanner would not power up. I get a quick flickr of the keyboard lights and then nothing more.  usually i'd hear the scanner engaging its setup and then i'd press the power to power on the pc. but nothing is happening upon main power up.  I tried powering the pc to another power source, it powers on and works properly, but then it shows an error for arcnet communication error.  This started to be of concern when I would randomly notice the power not going to the PC and scanner. but I'd just power down and then power up again to resolve it. It seems like there is a switch someplace during powerup that is not connecting upon powering up. hopefully this is an easy fix ..  thank you in advance for your help.

I recommend to pay attention to your main PS (power supply unit).
it distributes the power to all around the lab equipment so this is the first unit to check in the list.
Please invite the service engineer and he will check the output voltage from PS by reading it with multimeter.

If he does not have a service manual with wiring diagrams - he can download it from our web site.
