Noritsu ls-600 Scanner Image Path Error

Hi All, 

I'm new here.  I just got a Noritsu LS600 and have been trying to get it working, with no luck so far.  

Right now, when I try and calibrate the scanner, either in the software or in photoshop before scanning, I get error 6341-00003.  The error message states 'Scanner image path error.'  

What happens is that the software stops working, I get a windows error message, and when I restart the software I get the image path error message.  This happens in photoshop when I use Twain as well.  

I cannot seem to find any online resource to help me with this issue.  Any help from you all would be much appreciated!

PS: I am running on a windows 10 machine with Twain 6.50.

It's likely the Noritsu software is not compatible with Windows 10. If it is a 64 bit version of Windows try a 32 bit version instead.

Yes. Only (x86) 32-bit Windows are in use.

Hello. LS-600 software can be used on 64 bit version. I have software for Windows and for MAC.

Very true, new version 6.50 can be used with windows 10 64 bit(if anyone needs it let me know.,I can send you link) you will have to disable digital signature in order for this to work. Image path error most likely the plastic bracket is broken which keeps the lens in place. lift the front lid and move your lens a little, if it moves its broken. lens keeps in place.

Hello. ''pepe21'' was talking not about EZ controller, but about system software for LS-600. 

I have LS-600 system software 6.5. It can work on Windows 10 64 . 

Also have Ez controller version 6.6 . It can work on any Windows ( even Windows 10 64 ) . My version can work with Ez controller dongle or without it ( have activate it ) . Few this forum members already use this software.

My Antivirus software found it, blocked and killed.

Did you try to check it for viruses before share?

@drytech Yes I did and its very odd, as you are the only one saying it does. My computers are well protected but yours somehow found it?

I recommend to have a good antivirus program and scan your PC.
You shared the link to the folder with all files of twain driver and I accepted it.

After my desire to download the TWAIN driver - Google Disc made archive from all your files and folders and I downloaded it into my download folder.
Then I decided to unzip it to the specified folder and during the unzip process I received the message from my Antivirus program that one seruous virus was found, blocked and erased.
And it shown the name of it.

So I will never download files from you anymore.
Sorry.
Buy new antivirus program please.

Don't be so hasty.  Not all antivirus will catch everything, and some antivirus programs will give a false "positive" to some software saying it is/has a virus when it is not. 

drytech, what antivirus software are you using ?  What was the name of the file ?  If it's not a critical installation related file, maybe pepe can delete it from his Google drive so it doesn't happen to anyone else ?

Fine, it detected a problem file and deleted it, that's great.  After it was deleted everything else was "clean".  Did you try to install ?  Maybe pepe's computer IS infected, and that archive file GOT infected with a virus file.  Your antivirus caught it and got rid of it, now it's clean.  Install it, now that it's clean.

If pepe has been using it with no problems, I don't see a problem with it.   Then again, it was "free". 

Pepe, I don't have a Noritsu that can take advantage of EZ Controller, but can you PM me a link to your files ?  I'd like to see if my antivirus finds it.  I am interested.

Hello. He asked me to test files on this archive. The conclusion is following - original files where not infected, but infected files on Goggle drive. My Google scanner even do not allow download infected files there. Do not know why it happened. pepe21 should delete them.

By the way - on this archive is not LS-600 system software, but just Twain driver ( Ez controller version to run scanners ) . To run it you would need dongle ( similar to Ez controller dongle, but with different code ) .

So as you can see I was right and there was a virus inside.
Anyway i cannot use it without a dongle.
For the first time I see the the TWAIN driver with dongle.
Noritsu is really crazy for dongles.

It is just called Twain driver. Really it is the same EZ controller with less possibilities. Using it without dongle you can run scanners with Twain driver features, but to have all you need dongle. Dongle for this software from Noritsu is cheaper, than dongle for full EZ controller ( where can be connected everything - minilabs, dry printers, Epson, DNP, some Fuji and etc ). Twain driver software dongle can't be used on full Ez controller and Ez controller dongle can't be used here. By the way - when we are talking about EZ controllers Noritsu released one more version. It is ''light'' version - to work with small new printers only ( DR-08 and DR-12 ) . Software has own dongle and was designed for these printers. Of course it will be cheaper , but question what will be with these small printers. Printers have too many problems and Noritsu just promoted, but stopped to sell them. 

LS-600 has normal system software. It can be installed on Ez controller and it has maintenance menu similar with QSS Printer ( system software for Noritsu minilabs ) . Also there are other system software for LS-1100 and HS-1800.
