TheMechanic Posted January 18, 2017 Report Posted January 18, 2017 (edited) While cleaning my solution tanks, I must've have tripped something as my P1 and P2 are very cold despite the 'Temperature Check' saying the temperature is going UP. The temperature of the PS1/PS2 tanks never change and i get error E-2614 (temperature not rising). My wash tanks are all heating properly. I've been looking for the push button fuses on my PAC20 board, but it does not have them as it is a Frontier 375 board. I pressed all the white push button fuses on the CTB20 board, CTL20 board, LDD20 and even the Firewire board. No matter how many times i try, the temperature does not change. Tomorrow I'll try cleaning the heater pathways, once again check circulation and replace the circulation filters. I just don't see how it could happen to both PS1 and PS2, so im thinking its the PAC20 board again. Any suggestions? Thanks guys, you are lifesavers !! Edited January 18, 2017 by TheMechanic
waltersfoto Posted January 18, 2017 Report Posted January 18, 2017 Try cleaning the thermostats (temp detector). normaly located next to the cirkulation filter
yustas Posted January 18, 2017 Report Posted January 18, 2017 I recommend to pay attention to solid state relays (SSR) which control the heaters. Also check the heaters for resistance. It is easy to find the cause of cold tanks for service engineer. Call him out and let him earn some dollars.
TheMechanic Posted January 19, 2017 Author Report Posted January 19, 2017 Gents, thank you for the replies. Yustas, the service engineers in NYC suck, im much better than most of them. I've had a horrible experience with the Fuji technicians, as well as the regional third party guys PTS. I've had no choice but to become a tech myself Thanks guys, will let you know what I find! !
TheMechanic Posted February 1, 2017 Author Report Posted February 1, 2017 Gents, quick update. The culprit is indeed the PDC20 board. The SSR are all fine, as well as the contactors. It appears an IC is busted. I will be ordering a replacement soon. I will let you guys know if it works so other forum members can hopefully learn from my experience.
Fototech Posted February 1, 2017 Report Posted February 1, 2017 PDC20 ??????? I doubt that, lets hear if it is the culprit.
