Kws2868 Posted February 17, 2017 Report Posted February 17, 2017 Hi, I was cruious if anyone has changed a print head from a 8810 with a spare used Print head from another 8810 printer? I changed one printhead out of from one 8810 to another and then I changed it to match the right voltage, but now it's coming up with a TPH Setting Err issue? What is this issue and how can I resolve it? Thanks, Ken
Kws2868 Posted February 18, 2017 Author Report Posted February 18, 2017 I figured it out if your changing print heads out for a used one, make sure to grab all the density settings off the previous unit that your grabbing the used part from. Then change the density settings on your new unit with the used print head installed. The 6850 and 6800 don't seem to have this issue, as long as you get the voltage right, your all set to go.
Haji Kasam Posted November 26, 2025 Report Posted November 26, 2025 Hi how to grab all the density settings off the previous unit. i did not know to do these setting before changing head now i have already changed. is there any solution? Dest Regards
Kmit Posted November 26, 2025 Report Posted November 26, 2025 The print density is set to the value on the specification packed with the new THERMAL HEAD AY
Kmit Posted November 26, 2025 Report Posted November 26, 2025 Postrequisites: [1] Do: • DC POWER SUPPLY: Voltage for the THERMAL HEAD AY • Print Density on • Print Position on [2] Test for the correct operation of the equipment.
