fronier500 Posted February 21, 2017 Report Posted February 21, 2017 Hello, I've been struggling with the smell "frontier 500 minilab" makes for the last couple of years. I've tried changing the chemichals, but it's the same. Nothing has changed! Any Ideas? thanks
yustas Posted February 22, 2017 Report Posted February 22, 2017 Changing of just a chemicals in working tanks is not enough. If you feel a smell around the lab it means there is some sort of seaweed inside the hoses/tubes, pumps etc. You need to clean the whole chemicals supplying system using a detergent killing the seaweed (for example for aquarium).
shutter Posted February 26, 2017 Report Posted February 26, 2017 In addition to Yustas replay, the bottom of all Fuji processors is made as a tray. They come with a plug that fits into a drainage hole in that tray. If that hole is plugged a leaking clamp, bellow and so on results in a buildup of water and chemistry in the bottom of the processor that then has all the ingredients to "stink". yustas 1
