ez controller error

When I try to print the photos, the machine cuts the paper and takes it to the input of the exposure unit and after it shows me error 06681 - 00005 communication network  error. It cuts off all communication even the ping no longer passes. It must restart the machine so that it is again on line
How to correct this error? The communication is good until you want to print a photo just  when you want to print error 06681- 00005 appears

Hello. 06681-00005 means the communication between the input side and printer I/F main PCB failed in printing process. That means you loosing communication between computer LAN and QSS3501i PLUS Printer I/F main PCB ( J391391 or J391489 ) . Can be problems with computer, LAN cable , Printer I/F main PC ( power supply or board itself ) . 

If after minilab restart you have ping with minilab again then probably problem inside minilab ( Printer I/F main PCB, power supply ) . To make sure to the same network connect one more computer ( use switch ). Set static IP there ( for example IP 192.168.1.13 and mask 255.255.255.224 ) . Minilab address will be 192. 168.1.11 , mask 255.255.255.224 and EZ controller computer 192.168.1.12 , mask 255.255.255.224 . Run ping from both computers ( to minilab and other computer ) . Leave these ping menu opened ( two on each computer ) . If no errors then run EZ controller. Then try to make print. When you get 06681-00005 look ping menu on both computers. Look from which IP you have ping error. If from both computers ( EZ controller computer and optional computer ) you have errors with minilab and have good communications between computers ( both side ) then problem inside minilab. Have check power suppliers on this board. If they OK - try run software upgrade for this board only ( from service mode ) . If it will not help - have replace board. On QSS3501i PLUS can be used J391391 or J391489. Also board can test on any Noritsu QSS35xx PLUS or Fuji 7000, 7100, 7200. Fuji would be better. It has display module. Using it can see this board works or not.

Hello ! excuse me because I misunderstood my question. I wanted to know what this error means and how to proceed to solve it. i have a qss green II and by installing the 6.40 version of ez controller the machine showed me this message, what should i do? where can I download the ezcontroller installation manual

15010-00003 error can be only on new EZ controller versions. Can find it on EZ controller version 5.8 service manual. This error was not on older versions. 

EZ controller 6.40 can't be used on W10. If you try install there you can get errors. Have the latest version, which can install there. Also have high resolution print software for QSS Green II.

When we are talking about modern Windows then 6.40 can use on Windows 7 Professional Edition 32-bit/64-bit versions and W8 x64.

15010 - system error, 00003 - exception occurs in the order management thread. This error occurs if EZ Controller could not start up normally. It can cause faulty RAM. If real RAM not enough - can add virtual. Run EZ controller testing tool ( EzCtrlTool) to check computer.  In addition, the error may occur if the EZ Controller software has any problem. Reset the power supply, uninstall the EZ Controller, Install the EZ Controller again.

I have all EZ controller manuals ( service, user, instillation and etc ) , but can't offer free of charge. Write private message, if want to purchase.

Hi everyone, i need some help. I want to upgrade or change the PC from mi QSS-3501i Plus so i have a pc with Windows 8.1 64bits. My question is what versions i need and my dongle key sentinel safenet superpro still works?. The machine still works wtih the original hardware but i want to upgrade and we have a problem with the colors at the time to print the colors of the pictures are weird. If i wanna do that(UPGRADE) what things a need(instructions, sofware and utilities).

Hello. Dongle works on any EZ controller - even on the latest (6.8). With Windows 8 x64 works EZ controller version 6.1 or latter and with W10 x64 - version 6.6 or latter. Also need to upgrade QSS printer to version, which supports exact Windows ( version 16.10 or latter for W8 x64 and version 18 or latter for W10 x64 ) .

Sorry, but QSS printer software has exclusion, which is not good for you. QSS-3501 i PLUS is not supported to Windows 8 and Windows 10. The latest Windows, which you can install is W7 x64 SP1. You need EZ controller 5.8 or latter and QSS Printer version 14 or latter to run on this Windows.  Of course you can use the latest versions ( EZ controller version 6.8 and QSS Printer version 19 ) , but can use them only on W7 X64 SP1.

All new papers included there.

Thanks, i need all software and instructions to install. The bad thing using Windows 7 is the issue of their system recovery doesn't detect external drives. How much weight the software?. One more thing i recently install windows 8.1 so is really necessary downgrade to windows 7?. If it is will do it. You can guide step by step please.

On QSS Printer version 16.10 description see  "The maintenance application can be used on Windows 8. QSS-3501iPLUS is not supported to Windows8" .

On QSS Printer version 18 description see  "The maintenance application can be used on Windows 10. QSS-3501iPLUS is not supported to Windows10.

On QSS Printer version 14 description see  "The maintenance application can be used on Windows 7 SP 1" . No limits for QSS-3501iPLUS there.

As I told before I didn't install QSS-3501iPLUS, so can't say they work on latest Windows or not. Laser model ( QSS3501 PLUS ) on Windows 10 works perfectly ( tested myself ) . On description no any limits for laser models. If in short - Noritsu says that can't  install QSS-3501iPLUS on W8, or W10. Can try install - maybe work.

On other instillation manual I saw that Noritsu D1005 HR ( dry printer ) can't be installed on W10. and can work on W8. I tried to install it on W10 and printer works well. Might be the same would be with QSS-3501iPLUS , but might be different.

If you need software - write private message. If you buy software from me I will explain how to install it and can guide you step by step. Even can help do it online. We can try install on W8 ( or W10 ) . If will not work - have downgrade.

We have the latest version of Ezcontroller (2 licences/2 dongles) running on 2 separate Win10pro computers with no issues at all

Question not about that. EZ controllers 6.6 and latter ( 6.72, 6.80 ) perfectly work on W10. Just question does QSS3501 i PLUS ( iBeam model ) really can't work on W8 and W10 ( as says Noritsu ) . Guess you didn't connect this model also. QSS35 series laser models ( QSS3501 PLUS and QSS3502 PLUS ) perfectly work on W10. QSS3501 i PLUS rare and I didn't have to install it.
