PGI60606 Posted April 30, 2017 Report Posted April 30, 2017 Hello, I have a Noritsu QSS 3302 machine that was recently moved to my location from another. We would like to get this started up, but upon inspection, we do not see a means of connecting this machine to power. I have two existing machines (3501) that each have a power cord with plug attached to them. What does this machine require to connect to power? Thank you.
davidlam Posted May 1, 2017 Report Posted May 1, 2017 Usually the power connection location is near your machine serial no. plate (on which the power requirements are listed)... or open all lower covers and you will see
Minilab service Posted May 1, 2017 Report Posted May 1, 2017 Hello. You didn't tell what country are you from and which voltage have there. Minilab needs 200-240 V only. Have change voltage selection connectors positions on the board. Minilab has three inputs and they can be connected separately or to one point.
yustas Posted May 1, 2017 Report Posted May 1, 2017 Do not waste your time: read installation manual at p.62 for QSS33 series here:http://minilablaser.com/manuals/qss33_installation_minilablaser.pdf Enjoy!
Minilab service Posted May 2, 2017 Report Posted May 2, 2017 Hello. Do not follow connections from instillation manual. There not displayed jumper settings. If they will be wrong you can destroy minilab or have A.C. short circuit. First you have set jumpers ( on terminal and board ) and only after that can connect as showed on instillation manual.
yustas Posted May 2, 2017 Report Posted May 2, 2017 Dear Romas, You missed one important detail in the description of the question: If you re-read his first message you will see that lab WAS working and they just "moved to my location from another." All settings have been set if they have already had a well-working lab.
Minilab service Posted May 2, 2017 Report Posted May 2, 2017 I didn't miss anything. He should know which connection circuit was used before. In the same country can be used few connection circuits. If jumpers mismatch - he might burn minilab or will be short circuit. Of course if he 100 % knows how was connected he can connect as it is on instillation manual. If I where him I'd check jumper settings first. Few times I had to repair minilabs when it got 400 V instead 240. If will be short circuit it will not burn minilab - just have big bang after power on.
