Dear all, we have 8" x 13" paper jam problem on QSS-3301 printer side. We use 8" wide paper and when paper advance is set to 13" long or above, the leading edge of the paper will stop at the inlet roller of the exposure advance unit   and then    the paper jam error occurs.... resulting also that we cannot do the "emlusion no. change" calibraiton since that strip will be 8" wide and 13" long (got jammed), a TRUE paper jam

When the paper advance length is set back to 12", it is NO "paper jam" problem at all.

Moreover, we have NO problem found on other paper width of size photos also, e.g. 5" x 13" long, 5" x 14" long, 6" x 13" long   and    6" x 14" long print size

please help to advise what could be the problems of  [ 8" x 13" long ] or longer will result  TRUE paper jam .   Thanks.

I'm guessing this is on glossy paper. I have had similar events on several Noritsu machines caused by the tail end of the paper sticking to the guides at the cutter end. The arm moves across with the leading edge and just before it gets to the exposure advance the paper sticks and the arm drops the leading edge. Worth a look with the door open, I have had several faults on longer prints on 37 type machines and lifting the guide with a washer is enough to stop the glossy paper sticking to the chrome plates in that area, maybe its static and a few strips of Teflon tape may help
