QSF V30 RA language

Hi people, Any idea how to change the language from German to English? Manual states 6 different languages when using the program on the floppy, but how do you select English? For example: #5 is ENGLISH + ITALIAN How do you choose ENGLISH? Or: is the floppy not necessary and can you toggle in the V30 menu between ENGLISH and GERMAN? Thx,

LANGUAGE
Set the language on the display.
The language varies depending on the set language number, when the software upgrade is carried out.

3 English + German

5 English + Italian
6 English + Portuguese
7-9 Not in use

 

1) Select the setting item with the /\ or  \/ key.
2) Change the setting with the { or |  key.
3)  1/4 shows the page and means the first page of four pages.

Thx for the reply. I have the paper manuals, but its in German. I can pretty much understand it, but the main issue is the V30 language.

I do have a floppy with the 004 software on it. Initially V30P, but I guess it will work on a V30 also?

Any idea if this software update will reset the system? For example replenishment values?

yes, it will reset all preset values
And you will have to input them again.

All described in the Installation manual.
 

about the compatibility of the software: 
I do not know.
We did not have any QSF V30P on service in our area.

Enter the service mode (turn on DIP switch 2 on the main control PCB)

Mode, scroll down to floppy/ standard setting, Standard setting 3, Language, use the + / - key to toggle between English and the other installed language (German in your case) Press yes to register the change.

No you don't need any software to change from another language to English. Every machine has 2 languages installed; the first language is always English, so you would only need to load the software from the floppy disk if you wanted a different second language. i.e changing from German to Italian for example.

Just follow what I have written in my fist post to change from any language to English.

If you can't read it! Press Mode, press down arrow 7 times, press yes, press down arrow 3 times, yes, then +/- keys to switch between the 2 languages, then yes to register the setting. Note you must be in service mode to do this.

I put all the switched to ON ans changed the language. THX A LOT!
