If your laser has a sticker with a serial B410XXXXX - it means you have type HhB laser.

It has only one AOM driver on green channel and one laser driver PCB J291231 there (type B1).
All information you can see here at my web site.

Thanks for your reply Sir Yustas. But the fact is that The laser unit B410XXXX can not be connected on laser control PCB J391318-02.

So is there any other type of laser control PCB for this laser unit?

I will check the non available connection and get back to you.

thank you.

Hello. On QSS3501 and QSS3502 used J391318 laser control pcb. On this minilab usually was used FfR laser.

On QSS3501 PLUS and QSS3502 PLUS used J391435 laser control pcb.  On this minilab usually where used HhB and IiB lasers.

FfR - serial number first three digits B110.

HhB - label the first five digits 03800. Serial Number  first three digits show B410.

IiB - label the first five digits 03830.

Go to software version check ( laser line ) and look what you see there. What is your main system software version?

Very nice informations. I am very greatful and Thank you so much.

The fact is this. We have in our stock one HhB laser (B410...) and I did not know how to connected it.

I intend to transform my 3501 into 3501 Plus or 3502 Plus. 3501 is too slow. Then do I need to change any other control PCB in the machine ?

QSS3501 and QSS3501 PLUS have similar printing speed. QSS3502 and QSS3502 PLUS also.

Print size  QSS3501 QSS3501 PLUS QSS3502 QSS3502 PLUS

89x127         600             670                    1090          1200

102x152       580             580                    1010          1040

If you want to make QSS3501 faster you can change computer motherboard. Then can faster open files and increase picture processing speed inside computer. Also can use external computer, running EZ controller and make prints from it.

It is very difficult to convert QSS3501 to QSS3502. QSS3501 is single lane printer and QSS3502 has two lanes, so you have change printer hardware. QSS3502 needs capacity booster type D, but I can run without it.

Similar, if convert QSS3501 PLUS to QSS3502 PLUS.   QSS3501 PLUS is single lane printer and QSS3502 PLUS has two lanes, so you have change printer hardware. QSS3502 PLUS needs capacity booster type E,   Capacity booster type E is board inside minilab ( not plugged into computer, as type D ) . It is not possible run without it. Capacity booster type E is small board, but it is very expensive.

On all QSS35 can add long print option and print 914.4 mm length. Have use software and a little hardware to have this option.

If will need can offer capacity booster type D emulator, long length print software, latest EZ controller working without dongle on any Windows and with QSS3501 support ( can be connected QSS3101-1 and all latter ) .

What to help? Just use some motherboard, which has Windows 2000 drivers, PCI slots, COM port, Floppy ( can be without it ) . Many times replaced boards and all work well. You have connect new motherboard and computer will start automatically.

Computer configuration can choose yourself. All depends how good you know computers. Windows 2000 can install on new motherboards, but there have use advanced instillation. By default Windows 2000 PRO supports just 2 cores, but it is possible to unable more cores.

If use default instillation can use Asrock G41C-GS R2.0 , E8600 ( dual core processor ) , 4 GB DDR3, SATA SSD. I used all that to upgrade computer on QSS3001.

If you are advanced IT engineer can use very new boards ( Gigabyte GA-Z97-D3H  or even Asus Z170-P ) . They have everything and can be used, but have to use third parties modded drivers, make advanced instillation, cores enabling, force SATA AHCI mode and many other settings.

If you run print from external computer ( running EZ controller ) then can do not upgrade computer. Picture management will be on external computer and minilab computer will not need big resources.

You are a wonderful person. I have to exercise myself. I never be aware of installing win2k on advanced motherboard.

once thank you so much.
