Noritsu V30E and HS 1800 Questions

Hello 

I have a V30E processor and HS 1800. They are in working condition. I have some questions in mind regarding these machines.

For V30E:

1. Is it possible to do push development with this machine? I have read somewhere V30P is the machine used for pushing development. But I cannot find many information on this specific machine.

2. Is it okay to use different brand of fixer? Kodak Dev and Bleach, Fujifilm or other brand Fxer?

 

For HS1800:

1. I notice there are color differences between using the EZ controller and Photoshop using TWAINdriver. The colors from Photoshop is more contrasty and pop, while images scanned using EZ controller usually a bit dark and not pleasing colors. Why is it so? Is there anyway to turn off auto corrections?

Does anyone know which stabiliZer or final rinse solution best for this processor? I use c41 ra chemicals from champion.

If we want to push by increasing temperature, what will be the best temp setting for one stop push?

You can turn off or set autocorrection options on operator selections. Set default contrast, colors can do on DSA settings.

Ez controller has many color settings - for negative, positive or even using DX code. Can find them on each channel, paper ssettings and etc.

On EZ controller can add many optional software ( for example curve correction, color edit, digital masking, red eye and etc ) . Using additional modules can do everything.

I have all correction modules. What is installed on your computer you can see on option registration ( optional software list ) and on printing interface ( active options on correction 1 and correction 2 ) .

I need to see which optional modules i have. I just think that the colors are a bit weird with greenish cast on them. I thought turning off corrections i will have better and bolder scans. Skintones is just off right now

Optional software list can see on Ez controller menu. Which correction modules you have can see when open scanned frame. If installed then options on Correction 1 and Correction 2 should be active. If some not active - you have not installed them.

When have scanner at least would be recommended to install Digital masking and Red eye. Of course the best install all modules.

As I told before can adjust color on many menu - for example on print channel, paper settings menu. Corrections can enable or disable on operator selection.
