Greetings,

We have an issue here at the lab, with our QSS 3202 which gives us some greenish lines on greys. Please see attached picture.

We tried to invert AOMs. Same result.

Any advice that could help?

Cheers, plix.

This is not a green dot.
You see so-called a "magenta rain".
I think your green laser module is defective and need to be replaced.
Please read about it here:

I recommend to replace it with a diode module of our production.

We are the main laser module supplier for a plenty service centers in EU and around the world.

Hello,

You are correct, it was not a green dot. I totally missed the point... sorry about that :(.

Anyway, we ended swapping the green gun in the laser unit by another one from a similar laser unit.

It does work! No more "Magenta Rain". Thank you for the recommandation regarding your products, we will keep it in mind for our future issues!

Welcome!
But you placed inside your unit DPSS laser module again and it will die soon also.
Better to use diode lasers. They are more stable and have a longer life if to compare with DPSS lasers.
We make diode lasers only.
if you do not believe in our lasers- we can make an upgrade of your original Shimadzu or Showa laser from DPSS to diode (SLD) level and it will work also fine.
