Which system software version you have? What do you mean ''red is bad'' ? Older versions didn't have good white balance. it was fixed only since version 12. Did you try to make gamma test? Is red good there?

You told that your profile is 3.01. It is old. If you use new papers have upgrade profiles. Have the latest profiles - for QSS3704 ( and other minilabs working from Ez controller ) and other for QSS32 ( for Net order minilabs - up to QSS3502 ) . There on the list new papers - even Fuji Velvet, Kodak Premier and etc.

Yutas please what is the solution for the profile mismatch?

Sorry for the delay in responding to your question. I am on Christmas vacations in Poland in mountains and really do not want to work during it. Moreover, "minilab service" has responded you. In short: if your profile does not correspondent to the paper (for example you have an old paper profile and at the same time use a new type of photo paper) - you will have lots of troubles with color.
So if you need the fresh paper profile - just buy it.
We also have it.

Have the same problem, with noritsu 3300. My profile version is 7.19. I've made the new paper specification setup, and nothing changed. I think, maybe the range of colours is limited in this technology. I've made profile using xrite i1 calibrator, and the graphs show me what i thought. I found in internet some colour profiles from noritsu labs, and the old models , has not big gammut of colours.

Yes the output colour space for Silver halide printers is very close to sRGB so you will never get bright vivid reds.

Yutas the reason why am asking is because the color issue started not too long ago and a foreign engineer came around and installed new software's on win7 and the color wasn't OK more over  the system crashed within a short while, so I just want to be sure it will corrct the color problem before buying any software, thanks.

You can't make colors better, then can give your minilab, paper and chemicals. To have the best result your paper and chemicals should be good. Also need new and clean calibration plate. Calibration data should match plate. The best is to use ceramic calibration plate.

QSS37 is new printer. It has better gamut then very old Fuji 370. New papers have better colors then old Fuji Crystal Archive type 1. Of course even on new minilab and paper you can't get the same, what is on your source picture - especially red color.

On software you have choose correct paper profile. Only then your minilab can print as need your paper. Also can correct middle tone ( for each paper magazine ) and white balance ( this option have only on new system software versions ) . After that have find correct DSA settings. If some channel doesn't match your requirements you can enter corrections there.

I can't agree with You, the gammut is much smaller than srgb gammut

Actually in some areas it exceeds sRGB! Yes I agree that the red gamut is not quite as wide as sRGB, but it's the closest colour space to work from. I suspect that on today's Fuji paper it would be a bit better than on this graph from 2003.

The professional papers will give a wider gamut range over the non professional paper.

If the machines monitor is calibrated correctly, it should pretty much match the output print very closely (assuming the lighting you are viewing the print in is daylight balanced).

The only way to ensure you can use the full colour range of your printer is to have a custom profile made for it.

If you have an old profile and use the new type of paper - no need to be surprised that colors differ from desired.
Anyway, you will have to obtain it.
Any minilab owner must keep the versions of software of the equipment on the high level. What is the sense to try to win the lab if you have no weapon?

Here is the comparission of minilab and the new Epson Sure Color P10000 gammut. New inkjet printers has much better gammut. Not only 10 colour wide format printer.  Ordinary 4 colour printer has too.

I'm not sure what your point is? You are comparing two completely different printing methods, one is a photographic print the one is an inkjet print.

Yes inkjet printers have a wider colour gamut range compared to a true photographic print, but does this make the prints from these printers better?

It's all down to personal choice as to what you prefer, personally I like my prints to look natural and to not have that over saturated over contrast look that inkjet prints tend to exhibit.
