D1005 error 07117

I am experiencing this error (07117-00001), has anyone had this problem? If so did replacing the pressure pump unit resolve the issue?

07117-00001 - the pressure sensor did not detect dark. Can be faulty pressure pump, pressure sensor,  I/O PCB, or even main control pcb. First check sensor - open it and close and see changes on input check menu. If sensor OK then check output. Use multimeter to messure and run pump from output check. Look circuit diagram to see how all connected.

thanks for the quick reply. I was limping along and then 

a couple inks stopped flowing. I think this points to pressure pump. Thoughts?

I do not know. Can be two possibilities - pressure pump doesn't work, or it do not get signal from board. As I told before take multimeter, run pump from output check and look what you have there. Can measure on the board - will be more easy access than pump.
