Installing 3502 Main Software on Windows 7

Hello everyone,

I am looking to upgrade my PC in my 3502. 

Has anyone had much success with installing the software on Windows 7 at all?

Are there any tips you could pass on before I try?

Just a 3502 with main software QSS-35_Main_System_Program_12.00

This version works on XP. Can try to run on W7 x86 ( 32 bits ) . Install as administrator. Can choose compatibility mode with XP. Maybe will work.

Other possibility - use EZ controller. Then can print even from W10 x64.

Can you use the Noristu S4 scanner with EZ Controller? Also can you use the Noritstu Keyboard for Y M C D controls?

On EZ controller can use Noritsu keyboard. Usually on EZ controller used the same keyboard, but with USB connector. Can connect original keyboard from QSS3502, but have to use interface board, which is inside minilab. Can disconnect PC2 connector from original computer and connect to computer with EZ controller ( use PS2 extension cable ) . To use the same keyboard on both computers can use switch. Regular keyboard has all buttons, which are on Noritsu keyboard. Can find list on QSS Kids manual.

Prints go through Net order. How pictures will be printed can choose on operator selections menu. Can choose mode, where can print without going to Net order mode. Also can choose how pictures will be sorted. To use S4 on EZ controller directly have to change one board. Then scanner will be called ''HS-1800'' or ''S-1800'' ( your choice which name better for you ) .

I have EZ controller for W10 x64 ( and all other ) . Can work with dongle, or without it. Also have new profiles ( for QSS3502 and EZ controller ) . Noritsu USB keyboard can find also.

What board do I need to change on my S4?

AFC/scanner control PCB . Have use Noritsu p.n. J391472  ( instead J391201 or J390879 ) .
