ckphoto 0
Hello, I have a D1005 that I am getting banding with certain backgrounds mainly yellows, reds and browns. The banding measures 5mm, I have talked to Noritsu Support and they were no help saying it is most likely the printhead advance motor since my test prints are good. They want $600 deposit to send out a tech anyone have any suggestions before I go that way.

ckphoto 0
I did run some of the problem prints with "Image Quality" on and it does mostly go away. I really hope it is not the print head itself the cost to replace is more them Machine is worth. Edited October 16, 2019 by ckphoto
jimmyquoc 0
I had Banding problems. I have strained the print head's belt, it solves the Banding problem when your printer has been used for years. Edited November 6, 2019 by jimmyquoc Ok
purnomosetiawan 7
if the problem was the belt, than the banding will not be selective, but at every colour. but it's worth to try
