It is funny, that Fuji sells real Noritsu minilabs. On other hand Fuji can't sell anything else. They doesn't make new minilabs. Fuji makes only one dry printer ( DE-100 ) and nothing else.

By the way - MS01 version 10.0 has possibility to connect Noritsu QSS3801G . Probably added, because on some regions sold them. On other hand in UK is different. From local Noritsu dealer also can buy used Fuji minilabs, scanners and dry printers. They also sell Citizen and few other brands.

Fuji everywhere sold minilabs made by Noritsu. All Fuji LP-7xxx minilabs and Fuji DL-4xx dry printers are green painted Noritsu. Different only firmware, software, and ink cartridges ( the same - just different chip and label ) . When I installing these printers and miunilabs I'm installing Noritsu software. After that on dry printers need to use cartridges with Noritsu chips. Fuji stopped cooperation with Noritsu. Then released LP5500R and LP5700R. They are absolutely the same as LP5500 and LP5700 ( Frontier 550 and 570 ) .

Full Order Controller is universal software. There can connect various Epson printers. Can be connected few of them. To Order Controller LE ( light edition ) can be connected only one SL-D700, or SL-D800 printer and nothing else. In some regions Order Controller LE is not free and need to pay extra. Order Controller LE - Epson p.n. C12C932691 and Order Controller ( full ) - p.n. C12C843926 . Software quite expensive - LE costs about 750 USD and full version - about 3000 USD.

Yup, here they sells real Noritsu minilabs, because here nobody wants to buy 550r maybe except new user, ameteur photograper which are the end customers doesn't like the result from Fuji Frontier 550/570, they will search lab that has Noritsu machines..once a new lab that has 550r new from Fuji, they sell 3 months old minilab and get noritsu machines, because the cant get ameteur photographer comes to their lab

3000 USD for OC full  ?? well here epson throw it for free with their surelab printer

Meanwhile DE100 have not known problems. Printers are quite new. Maybe problems appear later. Printer was released on 2016 ( on Photokina ) , but Fuji started to sell them about 2019. I think printer was modified during these three years.

The biggest DE100 issue - expensive ink cartridges. Can buy only original cartridges from Fuji. Drop size is smaller than on other printers, can clean only one color, but all that can't compensate price difference. Ink is more viscous, if compare with DX100 ink. Probably here is reason, why it doesn't dry out inside print heads. Regarding Fuji specification DE100 and DX100 print cost should be approximately the same ( about 0,105 USD ) , but really DE100 print costs are higher, than on DX100. On other hand if on DX100 to add new part costs then DE100 print costs will be lower.

DE100 is slightly bigger ( few cm ) , 6 kg heavier and a little slower ( difference - 1 second ) .

DX100 mainly had problems with pump cap unit, print head and cartridge holder. DE100 has not problems with them. Meanwhile do not know anyone, who changed print head on DE100.
If printer not used longer time ink inside DX100 print head dry out. Then need remove print head and clean it outside, or even change print head. On DE100 is enough standard cleaning and can print again. After quarantine had to clean, or replace many print heads on DX100 ( SL-D700 ) . No problems with DE100.

On DX100 need to clean whole print head ( all 6 colors ) . On DE100 can choose, which color to clean.

On DX100 time after time need reset counters using service software, which is not included. Fuji doesn't sell this software, so need call engineer to do it. On DE100 service utility is included into standard software. Just need enter service mode ( using standard Xerox password ) .

On DX100 minimal print size is 102x89 mm. On DE100 - 50x89 mm.
DX100 standard print resolution is 720 х 720 ( 720 х 1440 high resolution mode ) . DE100 standard 1200 х 1200 and high resolution 2400 х 1200 .
Drop size DX100 2 picoliters and DE100 1 picoliter.
DX100 6 colors and DE100 4 colors.

SL-D800 is based on SL-D700. Many parts on both printers are the same ( print head, pump ) . If you are happy to have small Epson printer then do not see season to sell SL-D700 and buy SL-D800.

By the way - if with your SL-D700 you use Epson order controller ( full version ) then to the same computer can connect new SL-D800. If you have Epson order controller LE ( light versionthen can be connected only one printer (  SL-D700 , or SL-D800 ) .

Hello guys, I have a question. How many pictures on average can I print with a whole cartridge kit (6 colors) on a DX100?? I am trying to determine if its worth for me to buy my own minilab. I print about 10,000 pics per month using Shutterfly.com and the cost on average is 9 cents.

DX100 is not a printer, where can print thousands. Even small shops, which print lower amount do it on two, or four small printers.

When see maker specifications there declared print cost is 11 cents. Really it will be higher, than seller declared. On DX100 can clean only whole print head ( 6 channels ) so part of ink will be used for it.   Fuji DX100 for initial start takes about 20 % of each cartridge ink and use about 40 % of maintenance tank.

Fuji DX100 was made by Epson. Real name is SL-D700. Epson this model discontinued. So Fuji and Epson do not sell it.

DE100 head sold together with head interface board ( not with motherboard as you wrote ) . Fuji DX100 and DE100 print heads sells at similar price. Probably they want to offer competitive price with Epson SL-D800, where used the same print head as on DX-100 . Fuji DX-100 print head - Fuji p.n. FW16GFA17020 ( Epson p.n. FA17020 ) and Fuji DE-100 print head with board - Fuji p.n. FW30GB0100A ( PRINT HEAD KIT ) .

DL printers Fuji did not itself. DL4.. where printers made by Noritsu and DL6.. - made by Epson.

Ricoh head ink drop is smaller, so it is possible better mix ink and get better quality, than on DX-100 with 6 inks. Few my customers had DX-100 and now use DE-100. They all said, that DE-100 print quality is better. One customer uses DX-100 only to make index print. All other printed on DE-100.

DE-100 can clean one color, so do not need waste ink instead one channel cleaning 6. Ricoh print heads do not dry out. Even after long storage you can print on them. After quarantine had manually clean ( removed from printer ) many Epson print heads. Few of them had to change. No problems with DE-100 heads. After standard cleaning they started to print.

Here Fuji forum. Green 2 is Noritsu. On other hand the same print head was used on Fuji DL-450 ( green painted Noritsu D1005 - without HR ) and Fuji DL-42SD ( green painted Noritsu D502 ) .

Print head has Noritsu part number Z030077. Previous part numbers were Z028281, Z027893,  Z027802 . Printer head is made by Epson for Noritsu. Epson makes these print heads only for Noritsu and doesn't sell them for others. Even Fuji printer parts supplied using Noritsu part number.
