Hi, does anyone know how to fix the tray elevator motor operation error 07171-00001?

First need to find what doesn't work. Can be mechanical fault ( something broken ) ,  faulty tray elevator motor, motor driver, sheet position sensor, bad connections, broken wire, on driver missing 24 V or board doesn't  work properly. Go to printer output check menu. There test tray elevator motor and sheet position sensors ( look status when it opened and closed ) . 
In most cases elevator motor has bad brushes, but this fault had on old minilabs, where used similar motors, so check it first. Of course can be some other problem, so need to check everything.
