nuno
Good morning, I would like to ask for your help please, We would like to start developing on Noritsu V30, but here we have some doubts: - What is the starter? (We always hear about not forgetting to start with the starter) - The replenishment tanks have to be filled with 12l or we can put only half for example. Below is a photo attached with a caption and I would like to know if everything is ok in the caption. Your help will be precious and grateful. Thanks
Dave S
Yes the amounts in the photo are correct. You don't need to completely fill the replenishment tanks to 12L though. Starter is used to weaken the chemistry when mixing a fresh working tank solution. Normally it is only used for the CD and BL. Without starter the chemicals would be too strong and the film would get over developed. Starter is only ever used in the working tanks, never in the replenishment tanks. Minilab service
No. Starter ONLY for working tanks. Do not need starter for replenishment tanks. Look post above. Starter is only ever used in the working tanks, never in the replenishment tanks. Should be two mixing instructions - one for working tank and other - for replenishment tank. They are different.
