Hansen
after jump ship from epson sld700 to fujifilm de100 i was happy. print quality is good , more ink efficient ,. but after almost 9 month problem appear. out of nowhere my de100 fail to start after sleep and than shutdown, and the pc will show connect to usb . but it happened randomly. sometime the de100 just go for a day without any issue and sometime it happened many time. my question are what wrong with de100? is it related to print head problem? do de 100 have power supply module / board just like sld700? Minilab service
It is some problem with power supply, or motherboard. Of course problem not related to print head. Do you have any lights on printer, when doesn't work? On service manual look board voltage list and check voltages. Fuji DX100 was made by Epson ( model SL-D700 ) and the most parts exchangeable. Fuji DE100 was made by Fuji, Ricoh and Xerox. So this printer is absolutely different. Power supply also absolutely different ( output voltage, connectors dimensions...) . Dave S
The problem maybe is caused by Windows suspending the USB ports to save power when not in use. Have a look here https://helpdeskgeek.com/windows-10/what-is-usb-selective-suspend-on-windows-10-and-how-to-disable-it/
Minilab service
Video can upload on some server and post link there. To make sure where is problem ( printer, or computer ) when computer doesn't see printer connect it to some other computer. During connection look if you see blink on Windows device manager. Then you know where is a problem.
Hansen
@Dave S hi , i'm no expert here but can windows suspend usb port to save power actually cause machine to shut down? and it just happened recently ... thanks for the suggestion , i'll try it anyway Edited June 2 by Hansen
Dave S
Some USB devices shut down when they detect no power on the USB connection. As Minilab service has said you need to determine if the problem is the computer or the printer. http://You can use https://wetransfer.com for uploading files

Minilab service
E-012E means detected plate heater assembly abnormality. Operate unit within published temperature specifications (10 °C to 35 °C) . Plate heater position can see on parts manual, or service manual.
